An attacker drained the infamous jaredfromsubway.eth MEV bot on Saturday after baiting it into approving attacker-controlled contracts to spend its tokens.Onchain security firm Blockaid and others valued the drain at roughly $7.5 million in WETH, USDC and USDT.The attacker consolidated the proceeds into about 4,427 ETH and routed 1,000 ETH through Tornado Cash.An X account using the bot’s name claimed a $15 million loss and offered a $1 million bounty, but evidence suggests it is a likely impersonator.
