Gnosis leadership and Zisk founder Jordi Baylina unveiled the Ethereum Economic Zone, or EEZ (“easy”), a rollup framework that promises synchronous composability between Ethereum’s L1 and connected L2s.The Ethereum Foundation is co-funding the initiative, which was announced at EthCC in Cannes.The EEZ builds on months of public governance discussion within GnosisDAO about evolving Gnosis Chain into a natively integrated Ethereum L2.Founding members include Aave, block builders Titan and Beaver Build, real-world asset platform Centrifuge, and tokenized equities project xStocks.
