Circle has launched cirBTC on Ethereum, offering a wrapped Bitcoin token backed 1:1 by BTC held in regulated custody.Chainlink Proof of Reserve has been integrated to provide onchain verification of cirBTC reserves and custody holdings.Circle said cirBTC will work with Circle Mint and is expected to expand to additional blockchains through Arc.
